Hi! My name is Dee. I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the founder of Kids Money Academy.
In addition, I am an instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension and practice as a CPA at a public accounting firm.
Starting Kids Money Academy was a journey close to my heart. As a mom, I knew how crucial it was to teach children about money from a young age. I saw a noticeable gap – a lack of simple, engaging ways for parents to talk finance with their little ones. With that, Kids Money Academy was created to meet this pressing need, offering a supportive platform for parents from all walks of life to have positive money talks with their kids.
Arriving in the United States at 23 with empty pockets and no understanding of English, I have walked the path of an immigrant and intimately learned the true meaning of struggle. This experience has taught me resilience and the value of perseverance. Now, as I live a life filled with appreciation and deep fulfillment, my heartfelt goal is to share the knowledge to guide your child toward creating a life they will love in the United States of America.
All the best,
Dee Komaromi, CPA
